Matthew Stafford is a one-time NFL Most Valuable Player who led the Los Angeles Rams to victory in Super Bowl 56. Anthony Edwards is a four-time NBA All-Star and two-time All-NBA Second Team member.
Before these two athletes made names for themselves in professional sports, they both proudly represented the University of Georgia Bulldogs. That said, Topps is drumming up school pride with a dual-autograph card featuring Stafford and Edwards, which is one of the inserts in the 2026 Topps Bowman Football collection.
Only five copies of this card exist, and it should be a must-have for trading card collectors, especially Georgia fans. Meanwhile, the Bowman Football collection includes other cross-sport dual-autograph cards, including Joe Burrow with Paul Skenes (LSU) and Vince Young with 2014 NBA Most Valuable Player Kevin Durant (Texas).
Topps also created dual-autograph cards featuring Tom Brady and Bryce Underwood (Michigan), as well as CJ Carr and Joe Montana (Notre Dame). Collectors can also unearth an autographed card featuring top overall NFL Draft picks Caleb Williams (2024), Cam Ward (2025), and Fernando Mendoza (2026).
Bowman Football 2026 is now available at the Topps website. You can also view the full 2026 Topps Bowman Football checklist here.
Fans Have Mixed Reactions About the Stafford-Edwards Card
Bulldogs fans are raving about this card, which features athletes from different sports. Some Georgia supporters used words like “sick” and “wild” on X to show how much they dig this collectible.
Another Georgia fan even suggested that the school find a copy of this card and display it as a museum piece at Butts-Mehre Heritage Hall.
Conversely, some sports fans contradict the points made in the previous comments. Slabz’s X account called it “the due we never knew we needed,” while PrizePicks called it “the only way they (are) selling a Stafford card.”
One fan also asked why is there a need for this card.
One fan also called the Edwards-Stafford card “disgusting.”
Given its rarity and the presence of the players‘ autographs, collectors, whether they support Georgia or not, would covet this treasure.
