Games Mysteriously Disappearing From PlayStation Portal Cloud Library

Over the weekend, dozens of PS5 games were randomly pulled from the PS Portal direct cloud streaming catalog. While Sony‘s terms of service allow it to add and remove games from the PS Portal library without notice, mass removal of games — including Sony’s own first-party titles — is unlikely to be deliberate.

System glitch likely behind PS5 games disappearing from PS Portal direct cloud streaming catalog

Over the last day or two, I spotted dozens of Reddit threads from concerned players who had purchased a PS Portal without a PS5 as the handheld can now stream purchased games without a console.

First-party game Ghost of Yotei is among the titles that have been unavailable to stream for the past three days, even though its PS Store page states it’s available to stream on both the PS5 and PS Portal.

Other games that have suddenly disappeared from the catalog include Madden NFL 27, Cities Skylines, Octopath Traveler 0, Ready or Not, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered, and more.

Some folks have contacted PS Support, only to be told that the aforementioned games are no longer part of the PS Portal streaming catalog. However, I doubt this information is correct and believe there is a glitch on Sony’s end that has impacted specific games.

We’ll update our readers when we have more information.
