    • Kyle Richards, former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, expressed interest in appearing on Netflix’s Little House on the Prairie reboot, where she previously played a role as a child actress.
    • Richards has not been officially offered a role in the new series, but she has watched it and finds it nostalgic, reminiscing about her time on the original show.
    • The first season of Little House on the Prairie is currently available for streaming on Netflix, with Warren Christie cast as Mr. Edwards in the reboot.

Kyle Richards is ready for prairie life if it means landing a role on Netflix’s Little House on the Prairie reboot.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum spoke to Entertainment Weekly at The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: Roaring 20th premiere event on August 4.

“I would love to make an appearance. Don’t think I didn’t ask them!” she said about the series.

Richards is no stranger to the Little House on the Prairie franchise. She played the adopted daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edwards, Alicia Sanderson Edwards, on the 1970s series at just five years old. She came back as a different character for one episode in season 5.

The Western ran for nine seasons between 1974 and 1983. It was based on the semi-autobiographical nine-book series by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

“They’re like, ‘Well, it starts before that you’re on the show,'” Richards said about her conversation with the new Little House team. “I’m like, ‘Well, whatever. I can do a cameo and play someone else.’ So, yeah, I want to be on the new Little House on the Prairie!'”

The 57-year-old hasn’t officially been offered a role, but that didn’t stop her from streaming the series.

“I have watched the new Little House on the Prairie and it’s very touching to me. It’s very nostalgic. I was telling my daughters, I can’t help but walk down memory lane watching that and seeing the man who’s playing Mr. Edwards, who was my dad on the show, and everything,” Richards recalled.

Victor French played Mr. Edward on the original series, while Netflix cast Warren Christie in the reboot.

“I can remember, as a little girl, and I was only 5 when I started that, what it felt like to put on that clothing — the little hook [I needed] to put my shoes on for the buckles,” Richards shared. “It’s just really taking me back.”

The first season of Little House on the Prairie is now streaming on Netflix.
