Fortnite Players Can Unlock the Entire Item Shop for Free for 14 Days

Fortnite’s new Treasure Hunt event gives players a chance to unlock the entire Item Shop for free for 14 days. The rare Pirate Shop Access reward can be found by opening chests in Battle Royale, alongside exclusive cosmetics and other prizes.

How to Find Pirate Shop Access

Pirate Shop Access can be found in Treasure Chests, Buried Chests, Sprite Chests and Rare Chests across the island.

Chests now refill over time, allowing players to return to previously looted locations and open them again for more chances at rewards.

Rewards are shared across your party. If one player finds Pirate Shop Access, everyone in their party receives it.

There are no guaranteed chest locations for Pirate Shop Access, and its exact drop rate is currently unknown.

Players who find Pirate Shop Access receive two tokens: one for 2026 and another for 2027.

Each token can be activated separately and gives players 14 days to claim eligible Item Shop cosmetics without spending V-Bucks. Any cosmetics claimed during this period remain in their Locker permanently.

Real-money purchases, gifting and Battle Pass rewards are excluded.

Players can choose when to activate their tokens within the available activation periods, meaning they can wait for cosmetics they want to appear in the Item Shop.

Alongside Pirate Shop Access, players can find several other rewards in chests, including:

• Solid Gold A$AP Rocky Outfit
• Solid Gold A$AP Rocky’s Gauntlets Pickaxe
• Plunder in Paradise Loading Screen
• Mercedes-AMG G 63 G-Wagon
• Golden Llama Crew Decal
• Jam Tracks and additional rewards

The available cosmetics will rotate throughout the event. Week 2 introduces Lil Uzi Vert rewards, while Pirate Shop Access tokens will remain available.

The Treasure Hunt event ends on Friday, December 4, giving players until then to search for these rewards.
