Treasure Hunters, the title of Fortnite’s new mini-season spanning the entire month of November 2026, is here. This new phase is marked not only by the highly anticipated collaboration with ‘One Piece’—featuring new outfits for Luffy and his friends—but also by an unprecedented change in the game’s nearly ten-year history. For the first time, Epic Games is introducing an extremely rare item that lets players get everything from the Daily Shop for free for two weeks… in 2026 and 2027! Below, we explain how Pirate Shop Access works:

Madness in Fortnite: Epic Games is giving away all the items from the Daily Shop for two weeks if you find an incredibly rare coin

The new season of Fortnite began on November 1, 2026. Aside from the usual changes to both the map and the available arsenal, one of its biggest draws is the new collaboration with ‘One Piece,’ where Luffy, Sanji, Zoro, and the rest of the crew make their debut as new outfits. But beyond the arrival of these iconic characters from the world of manga and anime, Epic Games has introduced a brand-new mechanic without prior notice: Pirate Shop Access, an item you can find in the middle of matches—and which, given its effect, we assume has an extremely low drop rate—that allows you to claim all items from the daily shop for free for fourteen days after activation. It’s a token that appears randomly when opening chests. X user @snowslept appears to have been the first lucky player to find such a treasure, as shown in a video:

Apparently, this Pirate Shop Access benefit applies to all players who join us in Duos, Trios, and Squads matches, so if any of our friends find one of these elusive coins, we’ll also get a token to use whenever we want. Once redeemed—the player decides when via the menu—all items in the daily shop will appear without a price, marked as “free” for two weeks, so you can loot it to your heart’s content. And the best part? Pirate Shop Access isn’t a one-time thing; you’ll get two different coins to use as you please, one in 2026 and another in 2027.

HERE IT IS YALL!! ITS ALLLLL OF THE SHOP FR IM SO HAPPY 🥹😭 pic.twitter.com/qo3hzhEL0D

When does the new ‘One Piece’ season in Fortnite start? Date and times

It is no coincidence that Epic Games has introduced such an unprecedented mechanic into the game. In 2026, the company has been at the center of several scandals, such as a round of mass layoffs that affected 20% of its workforce—justified by Fortnite’s engagement dropping to alarming lows— while Tim Sweeney, the company’s CEO and founder, continues to draw criticism for his controversial comments on AI—not to mention alleged improvements to its launcher that still pale in comparison to what Steam has been offering for years. Everything points to this measure as a desperate attempt to give players a reason to return to Fortnite and regain their trust—trust that has been tested time and again in recent months and that Epic needs now more than ever, as Grand Theft Auto VI hits stores.
