Fall is where Crunchyroll puts its weight, and the Fall 2026 season has one locked date at the front of it.
The Apothecary Diaries Season 3 premieres October 2, and it is the only Fall title with a hard calendar date so far. Crunchyroll locked it in on August 15. The season runs as a split cour, with the second half held until April 2027. Maomao’s rise from the rear palace pharmacy has been the most quietly confident adaptation on the service, and it is the rare mystery <a href="https://comicvibe.com/top-5-series-to-watch-this-week/” title=”Top 5 series to watch this week”>series that trusts its audience to keep up.
There is also a film, which opens in Japanese theaters December 11 with an original story written by series creator Natsu Hyuuga. No Crunchyroll release has been announced for it yet, so treat that as a Japan date rather than a streaming one.
Black Clover returns in October for Season 2. Asta’s run has always been the shonen that had to work harder for its respect, and the audience that stuck with it is not small. Crunchyroll has confirmed the October window without naming a day.
Firefly Wedding premieres October 9 on Fuji TV’s noitaminA block. That is the Japanese broadcast date, so expect the Crunchyroll simulcast to follow the same night or close to it.
Three more titles are confirmed for October: FX Fighter Kurumi-chan, The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World II, and Uncle’s Obsession with Cute Things. ELECEED was announced in the same batch but is dated Early 2027, not this fall, and Shangri-La Frontier Season 3 arrives January 2027.
Black Torch is the best thing on Crunchyroll right now, dub included
Black Torch premiered July 4 as part of the Summer 2026 season, and it is the title to start if you are waiting on October. Jiro Azuma bonding with a wounded demon cat named Rago is a premise that could have gone generic in a dozen ways, and the show keeps sidestepping every one of them.
