‘Emomee,’ Indian Kids Life-Skills Series, Lands on Netflix (EXCLUSIVE)

An Indian children’s <a href="https://comicvibe.com/skycity-entertainment-asxskc-shares-are-surging-today-heres-whats-happening/” title=”SkyCity Entertainment (ASX:SKC) Shares Are Surging Today. Here's What's Happening”>entertainment company has brought its debut original animated series to Netflix.

“Emomee: Big Skills for Little Ones, Minis,” from the Mumbai-based brand Emomee, features 20 episodes of some 11 minutes each, centered on characters E, Mo and Mee as they navigate everyday adventures designed to build confidence, curiosity, kindness, emotional intelligence and problem-solving in preschool-age viewers.

“This launch represents much more than a new distribution platform. It is another milestone in building Emomee into a global entertainment company. Every step we’ve taken – from growing a loyal audience to expanding onto streaming platforms – is helping us build a long-term franchise that will extend beyond content into consumer products, licensing and live experiences,” said Pooja Jauhari, founder and CEO of Emomee.

Founded by Jauhari, a former CEO of WPP-acquired creative agency The Glitch, and Varun Duggirala, co-founder of The Glitch, Emomee reached one billion views across more than 100 countries and built a subscriber base of 2.5 million within 15 months of launch. The company drew further attention on “Shark Tank India,” where all five sharks made offers at the founders’ asking valuation of INR50 crore ($5.2 million). Suraksha Subramaniam rounds out the founding team, overseeing legal and IP compliance.

Emomee has positioned itself around what it describes as a “life-skills-first” approach to children’s content, in contrast to the algorithm-driven, high-stimulation formats that have drawn scrutiny from parents and educators globally. 

The Netflix debut is part of a broader expansion push that spans consumer products, licensing and live experiences. Emomee plans to attend Mipcom later this year to pursue new deals across distribution and licensing.
