One Piece is heading into Fortnite with a massive new collaboration starting November 1, 2026. The crossover will bring several fan-favourite characters, including Luffy, Zoro, Nami, and Ace, into Epic Games’ popular battle royale game.

Moreover, this collaboration arrives at an especially exciting time for Eiichiro Oda‘s franchise. With several major anime, movie, and live-action projects confirmed for 2027, the coming year is shaping up to be one of the biggest in One Piecehistory.

Epic Games has finally delivered a collaboration that One Piece fans have wanted for years. The upcoming Treasure Hunters mini-season will transform Fortnite into a pirate-themed adventure, with a brand-new island called Crossbones Isle replacing the regular Battle Royale map. Unlike the usual 100-player island, this new location will support 80 players and feature familiar locations from Oda’s story, including Arlong Park and Windmill Village

The best part is that the collaboration goes beyond a few character outfits. Portgas D. Ace and Nico Robin will be included in the Treasure Hunters Battle Pass, while Luffy, Nami, and Usopp will arrive in the Item Shop on November 1. Zoro, Sanji, and Chopper will follow on November 7, with Buggy joining the game on November 13.

Players will also get to use abilities and weapons inspired by the series. Luffy’s Gum-Gum Fruit and Zoro’s Three Sword Style are among the highlights, making this more than just a cosmetic crossover. The island will also feature new pirate-themed loot and rotating collaborations with A$AP Rocky, Lil Uzi Vert, Hatsune Miku, and Kasane Teto.

The mini-season begins on November 1 at 9 AM ET and builds towards Fortnite‘s Chapter 7 finale on December 5. This is a fantastic way to bring the world of One Piece into one of gaming’s biggest platforms. More importantly, the timing is excellent because the franchise has an enormous year ahead.

2027 is not just another year for Oda’s beloved franchise. One Piecewill celebrate its 30th manga anniversary on July 22, 2027, and several major projects are already confirmed to make the occasion even more special.

The biggest announcement is undoubtedly ONE PIECE FILM GOD VALLEY, which is officially scheduled to hit Japanese theatres in summer 2027. This is the first new One Piece theatrical film since One Piece Film: Red in 2022. The title has immediately attracted attention because God Valley is one of the most important locations in the series’ history.

Netflix also has something big planned for the franchise. Its live-action adaptation is returning with its third season. Scheduled for 2027, the new season will follow Luffy and his crew as they help Princess Vivi save her homeland from a civil war orchestrated by Sir Crocodile and Baroque Works . This is an important storyline because Alabasta is where the Straw Hats’ friendship and loyalty face one of their biggest tests

However, Netflix is not stopping there. THE ONE PIECE, the new anime adaptation produced by WIT Studio, is also scheduled to debut in February 2027. This is particularly exciting for newcomers who want to experience the story without immediately committing to the long-running anime.

Meanwhile, the original One Piece anime will return in 2027 following its final broadcast of 2026 on September 27. The Elbaf Arc, which began in April 2026, will continue when the series resumes. With the story moving deeper into the Final Saga, fans have plenty of major developments to look forward to.

With a new theatrical film, Netflix’s Alabasta adaptation, WIT Studio’s remake, and the continuation of the Elbaf Arc, 2027 is shaping up to be a massive year for One Piece. The Fortnite collaboration is arriving at just the right time to introduce more people to Oda’s incredible world before these projects take centre stage. So, are you excited to see Luffy and the Straw Hat Pirates arrive inFortnite, and which One Piece character are you most looking forward to playing as? Share your picks in the comments!

One Piece anime is currently available to watch on Crunchyroll.
