‘The Simpsons’ fans are in for a treat, because starting today, Thursday, July 30, 2026, they can once again enjoy the hilarious Springfield map in Fortnite. Matt Groening’s creation is returning to Epic Games’ popular battle royale as part of its summer event, aiming to commemorate what many consider one of the best seasons in the show’s history. Aside from the return of Homer, Bart, and the gang, a new and dangerous resident is arriving in Springfield: a new Simpsons-style John Wick outfit.
‘The Simpsons’ Land in Fortnite Once Again: All the Latest News on Reload, Including a New John Wick outfit and Much More
Patch 41.30, released on July 30, 2026, brings all thisnew ‘The Simpsons’ content to Fortnite. Brace yourselves, because there are some surprises in store; as part of Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 3, all these new features are coming to the game:
- The Springfield map replaces the previous map in Reload mode.
- New “Simpsonified” John Wick outfit—to unlock it, you must complete Battle Pass missions.
- One of the new locations on the map is The Confidencial, based on the Continental Hotel from the ‘John Wick’ series. If you open fire on another player here, a bounty will be placed on your head.
- New John Wick sprite: Reveals nearby enemies after knocking down or eliminating an opponent.
- New weapon: Tactical Assault Rifle.
- In Reload mode, opened chests will refill with loot after a certain amount of time. Additionally, in the Solo variant, you’ll be able to earn restarts to stay in the game even longer than before.
- ’The Simpsons’ loot has been added to Reload, including the Krusty Burger, the Cartoon Chainsaw, and the Krusty Pistol.

With this slew of new features, Epic Games wants to help its players relive what many consider to be one of the game’s best seasons. In November 2025, the Springfield map replaced the island in Battle Royale and Zero Build modes: the recreation of the popular city, along with the arrival of outfits like Homer, Marge, Bart, and Lisa, was a breath of fresh air at a time when much of the community was complaining of a certain sense of boredom and repetitiveness.
