Dying Light, the legendary zombie classic, joins PlayStation Plus Extra

Wrocław, July 21 – Over 11 years ago, Techland opened the gates to Harran, introducing players to Dying Light, a journey that would become one of gaming’s most beloved zombie adventures.

What began as a fresh take on the genre grew into one of gaming’s most acclaimed survival horror franchises. Over the years, Dying Light built a passionate community and became a modern classic series enjoyed by more than 50 million players worldwide.

Starting July 21, Dying Light is available to all PlayStation Plus Extra members, giving players the chance to discover where it all began. The game will remain available in the catalog for one year, giving both newcomers and returning fans plenty of time to explore Harran.

“There’s never been a better time to discover the Dying Light universe. Whether returning to Harran after years away or stepping into the city for the very first time. This is where players get to know Kyle Crane – an iconic character voiced by Roger Craig Smith – and experience the beginning of a story that continues in Dying Light: The Beast.” says Paweł Kopiński, Head of Live Products.

Curious why players still enjoy Dying Light 11 years after its release? Read the newest Dev Blog to discover what keeps the game alive after all this time.

To help us create unforgettable experiences for all Dying Light players, we invite them to join the conversation on Discord, Facebook, X, Instagram, and YouTube – we’ll be waiting!
