    Recent drama debutant among 55-hour packge picked up from France’s Federation International

    Radio-Canada has acquired more than 50-hours of programming from Federation International, including Disney+ drama Lucky Luke

    The 8 x 35-minute show was produced by Federation Studio France and Un pour Tous Productions for Disney+ in France, where it debuted on 23 March. France Télévisions has taken a second window and will air the show in the coming months

    The Canadian public broadcaster has also bought kids drama The Lady Grace Mysteries S1, which was produced by Cottonwood Media and Coolabi for BBC, ZDF, France Télévisions

    TF1’s Mr. Hubert’s Christmas, from Lapinxa Production and Quelle Aventure!, has also been acquired in the package, alongside police comedy A Case for Kin, which debuted on France Télévisions and is from Mercer Production

    Deadly Tropics S6 and the upcoming eight run are aomng the 55-hour package, as is animated series Ollie & Moon from Cottonwood Media

    It is the second package of shows Radio-Canada has picked up from the distribution arm of Federation Studios following a deal for A Tale of Two Cities, the modern adaptation of Dicken’s revolutionary epic novel for MGM+, BBC, Prime Video and France Télévisions

    Monica Levy, co-Head of Federation International, said: “Canada is a market we particularly cherish. We have a shared understanding with Quebec and Canadian broadcasters, as well as a genuine appetite for high-quality French fiction. This impressive volume of sales is the best illustration of that.”
