We all know Disney Plus is the hub for Disney content, new and old, along with Star Wars, Marvel, Pixar and National Geographic. Beyond its familiar classics, the platform adds a steady stream of new movies and shows each month, including original series, Disney Junior shows, Nat Geo documentaries and older library additions such as sitcoms, reality shows and films.
If you’re a fan of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, you’ll be happy to know that the newest Marvel series is arriving soon. VisionQuest, which stars Paul Bettany as an android with a Mind Stone of his own, is out on Oct. 14. The show is a spinoff of the great 2021 series WandaVision, but Elizabeth Olsen, aka the Scarlet Witch, is not on the call sheet. Also arriving on Disney Plus this month is the new supernatural teen series Coven Academy, a new season of Vampirina: Teenage Vampire and a documentary about pop sensations KATSEYE. Here’s a look at some of the biggest titles coming to Disney Plus this October.

Coven Academy (Season 1)
The new supernatural teen drama Coven Academy follows three teenage witches and their fellow students at an elite boarding school for witches and warlocks in New Orleans. The cast of students includes Malina Pauli Weissman, Malachi Barton, Jordan Leftwich and Ora Duplass, and the show also stars Saved by the Bell star Tiffani Thiessen as the head of school, Miss Graves. The first episode of Coven Academy premieres Oct. 1 on Freeform at 8 p.m. ET/PT, and the full season will be available the next day onDisney Plus andHulu.A little later in the month, you’ll also be able to catch a Coven Academy-themed batch of Locker Diaries episodes. Those short-form episodes featuring stars from the show will drop on Oct. 17.

Austin City Limits
Music fans have been able to watch livestreams of Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo this year on Disney Plus and Hulu, and now you can get ready for Austin City Limits, too. The annual music festival in the Texas capital will stream over the first weekend in October, from Oct. 2-4. Expect to see acts like Charli XCX, Skrillex, Lorde, The XX, Twenty One Pilots and more.

Vampirina: Teenage Vampire (Season 2)
The Disney Channel musical series Vampirina: Teenage Vampire is back for season two this month, with the first episode arriving on the Disney Channel on Oct. 6 and the complete second season dropping on Disney Plus on Oct. 7. In the show, Kenzi Richardson plays Vee, a young vampire girl who leaves Transylvania to attend a performing arts boarding school where she meets new friends Sophie (Jiwon Lee), Elijah (Shaun Dixon) and Britney (Faith Hedley). Full House star Jodi Sweetin and Camp Rock 3’s Ava Jean will be joining the cast this season.

VisionQuest (Season 1)
VisionQuest is the latest TV series in Phase Six of the MCU and stars Paul Bettany as Vision, the android he portrayed in the Avengers films and WandaVision. The new show is a spinoff of WandaVision and features Vision as he goes on the run with a mysterious teenager who may be his reincarnated son. James Spader, Ruaridh Mollica, and Todd Stashwick co-star in the eight-episode series.

KATSEYE: Wild Hearts
A documentary about the wildly popular girl group KATSEYE will debut on Disney Plus (and Hulu) on Oct. 16. KATSEYE: Wild Hearts is a celebration of the group and their fans — who are known as EYEKONS — and includes never-before-seen footage, Eyekons fan videos and intimate interviews from the group members.

Super Scam Me
Emmy Award-winning journalist Mariana Van Zeller investigates how scammers manipulate victims and extort them out of their life savings. Super Scam Me follows Van Zeller as she creates a fake dating profile and presents herself as a potential target to attract and eventually confront her scammers. The one-hour National Geographic special premieres Oct. 17 at 9 p.m. ET and streams the same day on Disney Plus and Hulu.
