Dimensional Double Shift was released on Samsung Galaxy XR at the same time as the game’s “biggest update ever.”
Dimensional Double Shift, previously released in early access on Quest, is a hand-tracked party game where you place food orders and repair cars for the locals of each dimension you visit. Following October’s New Joysey DLC, it is now available on Samsung Galaxy XR headsets and offers cross-platform multiplayer support with the Meta Quest headset.
Today’s Samsung Galaxy XR announcement also includes a free winter update for Dimensional Double Shift. Developer Owlchemy Labs has confirmed that this includes Solo Practice Experiment. This is the first single-player mode of the previous co-op-only experience, allowing you to learn the game’s core systems.
Other new features include rotating weekend boosters, including a limited-time “Midas Touch” modifier that turns everything you touch into gold. Other boosters include turning your mouth into a flamethrower and extending your arms further. Finally, the game will celebrate “Snow-vertime Fest” from December 18th to January 5th, adding festival hubs along with winter-themed avatar cosmetics and new interactions.
Dimensional Double Shift is currently in early access on the Meta Quest platform and Samsung Galaxy XR.
