DC is going bigger at New York Comic Con this year, with an expanded booth, a new cosplay experience, convention-exclusive merchandise, creator signings, and a full slate of publishing panels planned for October 8 through October 11.

DC will return to the NYCC show floor at Booth #4365, this time with an expanded multilevel setup showcasing the publisher’s comics alongside its live-action, animation, gaming, and other projects. Nearby at Booth #4657, fans can step into a new 360-degree cosplay photo installation designed as a runway for DC heroes and villains.

The booth will also continue DC’s celebration of 100 years of publishing, with this year’s theme turning to the 1950s. Following last year’s focus on DC’s earliest publishing era, the 2026 booth will spotlight a decade of experimentation and reinvention that helped shape the company’s future.

As part of that celebration, DC will give away a free MAD Magazine #1 facsimile, complete with vintage advertisements pulled from the company’s archives. The issue will also contain previews of upcoming DC titles and information about the publisher’s NYCC programming. Fans can pick it up at a 1950s-inspired Daily Planet newsstand, with the facsimile sporting a blank Daily Planet back cover that can be used for creator signatures.

DC Shop will have a presence at the convention as well, offering limited-edition NYCC exclusives and merchandise making its debut at the show.

One change this year is the introduction of digital queueing for select DC Booth activities, including DC Shop exclusives and creator signings. DC says additional details about eligibility and how fans can participate will be announced through its social channels ahead of the convention.

Jim Lee and DC creators head to NYCC

DC president, publisher, and chief creative officer Jim Lee will once again host the fan-favorite “Jim Lee & Friends” panel on Saturday at 2:00 p.m., with surprise guests and announcements expected during the presentation.

Lee will also be among the many creators appearing at the DC Booth throughout NYCC. The announced lineup includes Jock, Matt Fraction, Scott Snyder, Nick Dragotta, Frank Martin, Joshua Williamson, Hayden Sherman, and others.

Saturday will also include a special Batman of Two Worlds signing at the DC Booth beginning at 10:00 a.m. Fans will be able to join the digital queue for the signing, along with opportunities to meet the Absolute Batman team of Snyder, Dragotta, and Martin and the Legion of Super-Heroes team of Williamson and Sherman.

Publishing will remain a major focus throughout the weekend. DC says its panels will offer new details about the upcoming DC Vertigo slate, the expanding DC Next Level initiative, and other corners of its publishing line, with announcements, first looks, and giveaways planned.

The larger convention presence comes as DC prepares to put several of its major publishing initiatives in front of fans at once, from the Absolute Universe and Next Level to the return of Vertigo. More NYCC announcements and details about the booth’s digital queues are expected in the weeks leading up to the convention.
