Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2is set to arrive on Netflix on October 20, 2026, and its release times have been revealed for several major cities. Viewers in India can start watching at 12:30 PM IST, while audiences in the US, UK, Australia, and Singapore will get access at different local times.

The series is a standalone follow-up toCyberpunk: Edgerunners, set in the dystopian world associated withCyberpunk 2077. It introduces a new story and a different group of characters rather than continuing the first anime’s specific narrative. The setting remains Night City, a metropolis shaped by powerful corporations, widespread cybernetic modification, gang violence, and conflicts over control.
The new series follows Roman Carax, a young filmmaker determined to document the truth about Night City, and other characters whose lives become entangled with the city’s criminal and corporate power structures.
Created by Rafał Jaki,Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2is produced by CD Projekt Red and Japanese animation studio Trigger. Kai Ikarashi directs, with Bartosz Sztybor writing the story and screenplay alongside Masahiko Otsuka. The series is planned as a 10-episode original net animation miniseries.
The originalCyberpunk: Edgerunnersdebuted on Netflix in 2022. Produced by Trigger and CD Projekt Red, it followed David Martinez, a young man who becomes a mercenary known as an edgerunner after personal tragedy pushes him into Night City’s dangerous underworld.
