GOOD MORNING AMERICA turned its attention to San Diego Comic-Con this week, recapping a Marvel Studios showing that dominated the weekend’s headlines. The segment highlighted news on the Black Panther franchise’s return, Ryan Gosling’s casting as Ghost Rider, and a surprise appearance from Deadpool that caught fans off guard on the convention floor.
Marvel’s Hall H presentation happened Saturday night, and though Kevin Feige was focused on the future of the MCU, it felt like a blast from the past, with stunts and a huge assemblage of famous people to promote upcoming films. Kayleigh Donaldson called it a “recession indicator” in the Squawk chat which made me laugh.
