Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse supports 60 FPS on Nintendo Switch 2

We have a bit of unexpected news about Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, as it has been confirmed that the game actually supports 60 frames per second when played on a Nintendo Switch 2.

The game just received a demo on the Nintendo eShop. To clarify, this is for the Nintendo Switch version of the game. Konami isn’t putting out a Nintendo Switch 2 version, but perhaps that isn’t as essential as we first thought.

If you download the demo and play it on a Nintendo Switch 2, you’ll notice that it runs at 60 frames per second. Nothing is needed to make that happen – that’s the default setting.

On the original Nintendo Switch, Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse is only 30 FPS. When we heard about that, many were disappointed by the lack of a Nintendo Switch 2 release. But perhaps a Nintendo Switch 2 version isn’t as essential as it initially seemed.

Here’s some information about the title:

Rose is soon swept up in the dark conspiracy that lurks beneath. Will she succeed in saving Paris from devastation?
