Burger King and Hello Kitty are teaming up for an ultra-cute kids’ meal.
On Oct. 20, the fast food chain launched its Hello Kitty and Friends King Jr. Kids’ Meal in restaurants nationwide, complete with six exclusive toys packed in mystery blind boxes, per a release and information shared with PEOPLE.
Each Hello Kitty-themed kids’ meal comes with a blind box containing one of the Hello Kitty and Friends characters dressed in a Burger King crown, with some holding Burger King items.
The featured toys include Hello Kitty, My Melody, Kuromi, Cinnamoroll and Keroppi.
The Hello Kitty toy is holding a burger, while Cinnamoroll holds a blue fountain drink and Keroppi carries a bag of Burger King items.
If fans unbox the golden-colored Hello Kitty, which also sports a Burger King crown, they will get a complete set of all the figurines.

The Hello Kitty and Friends King Jr. Kids’ Meal itself features either a 4- or 6-piece order of chicken nuggets, a hamburger or a cheeseburger with fries or applesauce, along with a drink.
In addition to the toy, the meal is served with an exclusive Hello Kitty crown and is packed in a Hello Kitty and Friends King Jr. Meal bag.
A spokesperson for Burger King said in the release that the partnership with “the one and only Hello Kitty” will be “fun for kids of all ages.”
“We love seeing Hello Kitty and Friends get the royal treatment at Burger King, with each character sporting their own iconic BK crown,” added a representative of Sanrio.
Burger King is also hosting a Golden Claw Machine pop-up experience on Oct. 23 at the Burger King at 10014 Paramount Blvd. in Downey, Calif., where fans can use the claw machine to try to win the Hello Kitty toys.
The grand prize from the machine is a one-of-one 14K gold-plated Hello Kitty figurine.
The partnership comes a few months after Hello Kitty partnered with McDonald’s and Godzilla for the fast food chain’s Hello Kitty & Friends x Godzilla Happy Meal in August.
The meal came with one of eight exclusive collectible toys that combined Hello Kitty characters and Godzilla monsters, such as Hello Kitty wearing a Godzilla costume and Kuromi dressed in a Mechagodzilla costume.
Sanrio characters Cinnamoroll, My Melody, Badtz-Maru, Chococat, Keroppi and Pompompurin also sported their own Godzilla-themed attire in their exclusive toys.
Fans were enthusiastic about the hybrid collectibles in the comments section of a McDonald’s post promoting them.
“We’re going to at least 3 or 4 McDonald’s today!” one person wrote. “Im gonna freeze most of the nuggets & apples!!”
Another said, “These are so cute I love them all so much! The best collab! ❤️❤️❤️”
The Hello Kitty and Friends King Jr. Kids’ Meal isn’t the first highly anticipated kids’ meal announcement Burger King has made this year — the chain brought back Crown Nuggets for the first time since 2011 in June.
The nuggets were made available as an option for the $3.99 King Jr. Meal.
Burger King also released a Crayola-themed King Jr. Meal with a four-pack of crayons, colorable crown and meal bag.
