Gamer rage gets to everyone — even celebs.
Ben Affleck recently revealed on the “New Heights” podcast that he sometimes trash talks kids on the internet while playing popular multiplayer open-world survival game “Fortnight.”
Affleck, it appears, has a tough time taking the heat.
“Twelve-year-olds just f— you up,” Affleck lamented to hosts Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce on the Oct. 7 podcast episode. “I get killed right away and they taunt you and s— like ‘You suck! F— you!’”
Affleck acknowledged that he ends up “getting in arguments” with the kids in the game’s chat.
“F— you! I don’t suck,” he says in response to the taunting, Affleck told the podcast hosts. “I’m a grown man.”
Affleck, who’s currently promoting crime-thriller film “Animals,” joined the podcast to discuss the project. He explained that the costumes in the film are inspired by some of the outfits, referred to as skins, in “<a href="https://comicvibe.com/how-to-carve-pumpkins-in-fortnite-quest-locations-and-steps/” title=”How to Carve Pumpkins in Fortnite: Quest Locations and Steps”>Fortnite.” The video game famously features different skins that can be upgraded through milestones, challenges and more.
As Affleck points out in the podcast, the game has also dropped exclusive and limited edition skins that have become some of the most coveted aspects of the game.

“My son and he’s like ‘For Christmas, can you get me these real skins for Fortnite?’ But they’re 300 bucks,” Affleck tells the podcast of the virtual costumes.
Affleck has long been an avid gamer. On the podcast, he explained that in addition to first-person shooter games, he’s a fan of sports games like football game “Madden” and basketball game “NBA 2K.”
The actor has also been open about his love for “Valorant,” a first-person tactical hero shooter video game. He’s been spotted at major tournaments and even joined a watch party livestream last year with esports team Sentinels.
