Texas — Bell County Comic Con is underway this weekend at the Huntington Bank Center in Belton, marking the event’s 10th year. The convention runs Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m
Organizers expect more than 40,000 attendees over the two-day event. The convention features more than 300 vendors, 70 artists, and more than 30 panels and Q&A sessions.
This year’s celebrity lineup includes Lou Ferrigno, who played the original Incredible Hulk, along with Amy Jo Johnson and Steve Cardenas, the original Pink and Red Power Rangers. Actor Diedrich Bader, known for Office Space and Napoleon Dynamite, is also scheduled to appear.
Attendees can expect cosplay contests, Funko Pops, comics, collectibles, photo opportunities with Bumblebee the Transformer, Pokémon characters, and food trucks.
Volunteer Shavonn Hull said some costumes stood out among the hundreds of costumed attendees.
“So far it’s Dungeon Crawler Carl and Princess Donut,” Hull said.
