Yorozuya crew journeys into Yoshiwara, a vast underground red-light district where sunlight never reaches, and the law holds no sway. Gintoki Sakata and his friends agree to help Seita, a young pickpocket, reunite with his long-lost mother, whom he believes is Yoshiwara’s top courtesan, Hinowa. However, the district is brutally ruled by Housen, the fearsome “Night King” of the combat-loving Yato clan. To grant the boy’s simple wish, Gintoki must face overwhelming darkness, challenging Housen’s tyrannical grip to free the oppressed courtesans and illuminate the eternal night.
