Racing games are a genre you can sink a bit more money into than most. While you can certainly get MMO or FPS-specific peripherals, racing games have the coolest controllers. Well, outside of that one behemoth that was for Steel Battalion and had 44 input options, that thing was wild. We need more fancy controllers around, but ideally ones that don’t cost as much as a console. Anyway, racing wheels are cool, but they’re expensive, so if you do want to pick one up, making sure you get one on sale is a must.
Today, you can do just that. The Logitech G920 Racing Wheel And Pedals is usually $300, but it’s on sale right now with a pretty hefty 33% off. That brings the price down to $200 for a short while, and that’s a lot more appealing. We don’t know if this deal will stick around for very long though, so if you do want to get your hands on it, make sure you’re quick about it.
Steer Into It All
This controller setup is designed to be used with Xbox consoles and PC, so keep that in mind if you’re shopping for a PlayStation one, as this won’t do the job. You’re going to be getting a steering wheel that uses feedback called Driving Force to simulate actual driving, with and the pedals are pressure sensitive too, meaning you’re getting surgical control over what you’re playing. You can even adjust the pedal faces to suit your preferences too, making this a setup you can make sure fits you perfectly.
The wheel itself has lock-to-lock rotation that’ll allow for 900-degree rotation and hand-over-hand turns as you want. Just make sure you’ve got a good seat and table to get set up on for the most immersive setup possible. The wheel has a hand-stitched leather cover too, so you’ll have amazing control and comfort. Throw in the fact that the plastic parts of the wheel are 52% recycled as well, which means you’re doing a little bit more for the planet. Plus, your digital car should be outputting a lot less fumes too.
This is an incredible wheel and pedals bundle, and being able to get it with a great discount is a rare chance. Racing wheels can cost more than this, and still not match this quality. If you’re looking for a great deal, then picking this up while it’s down to $200 is something you’re going to want to snatch up.
