A Guide to All Fortnite Icon Series Skins So Far
Zachary RobertsPublished 05/08/2026

Are you wondering about all the Fortnite Icon Series skins in the game so far? There are plenty, and more are added all the time. These essentially represent real-life people. In some instances, they are also made-up characters that are portrayed by real people. The game is full of collaborations, and this series collabs with real things.
For skins, that means people. For emotes, that means real songs or dances. The back blings, pickaxes, and gliders are in some way connected to the real people from that set. The skins, however, remain the most popular, and for good reason. Here are all of them so far.

Chapter 7 Season 4.

How many Icon skins are in Fortnite?
As of the time of writing, there are over 140 Fortnite Icon skins.
More are added frequently, and we will keep this tally updated as new ones land in the metaverse. Had Epic Games been doing crossovers from the beginning, the number would be much bigger.
However, they didn’t really start adding any existing characters or people until 2018. Additionally, the explosion of collabs didn’t come until much later. It was a slow trickle at first before it really blew up, so the number should rise exponentially from here.
Who gets an Icon Series skin in Fortnite?
There are a few different categories of Icon skins in Fortnite right now. As of yet, there really aren’t any politicians (understandably), actors, or authors. These famous people haven’t joined, but it wouldn’t be surprising if they did, or at least if actors eventually become part of the roster.
For now, the list consists primarily of athletes, musicians, and gamers. These are the three avenues that typically get people into the game, but there are varying degrees of likelihood here. The most straightforward path is to be a musician.
Artists
Musicians and recording artists have long gotten in since Fortnite did live concerts. That’s how Marshmello and Travis Scott got in. Ariana Grande performed in a live event, too. Eventually, the arrival of Festival mode helped blaze an even wider path.
Now, every few months, a new recording artist is featured for Festival mode. Their songs are brought in, but the Festival pass also drops a skin or two to feature them. The Weeknd was the first, and since then, there have been plenty of others. In some cases, like when Metallica or Gorillaz are featured, multiple members of a band make it into the game instead of one recording artist like Lady Gaga.
Gamers in Fortnite
Gamers are perhaps the next-best bet, especially if they have any connection to Fortnite. Ninja was the first and best example, because he helped popularize the game by streaming it. Streamers like Chica followed suit.Content creators like SypherPK and pro gamers like Bugha eventually got the call, too.
Athletes in the Icon Series
Finally, athletes make it in, often without having a connection to the game. They’re just immensely popular, like in the case of LeBron James, Patrick Mahomes, and Shohei Ohtani. They’re the most recognizable faces in their respective sports, so the popularity drives the addition.
Additionally, there are a handful of stragglers. Khaby Lame is a content creator, but he has nothing to do with the game. He just has an unfathomable number of TikTok followers. MrBeast is the same logic with his YouTube following. Kim Kardashian isn’t really anything but a celebrity, but she’s wildly famous. More recent updates in summer 2026 saw David Beckham get his own skin, a nod to his new role as the owner of the Inter Miami CF football team.

best Fortnite players of all-time, including Bugha who got his own skin in 2021.
