The World Championship matchup is all set for Sunday afternoon when Curaçao takes on Mountain for the 2026 Little League Baseball World Series title. These teams have been the best this tournament has to offer throughout. Both Team Curaçao of the International Bracket and Team Mountain of the United States Bracket are the only undefeated teams left standing. Before this game, which will be played at Lamade Stadium in Williamsport, PA, the consolation third-place game between Team Japan and Team Great Lakes will start at 10 a.m. ET. The first game of the day will air on ESPN, and the championship game will air on ABC. Team Curaçao is represented by Pariba LL from Willemstad, Curaçao, and enters this championship game with a perfect 4-0 record. They haven’t just gone undefeated in this tournament, but the Curaçao Region has dominated their opponents thus far. They opened the tournament with a 6-0 no-hitter against Team Japan. Their second game was the closest by far, but they still pitched a shutout against the Asia-Pacific Region, winning 1-0. They then poured it on against Team Latin America, winning 12-3. With Team Japan having a chance to make a huge comeback in the International Championship on Saturday, Team Curaçao pitched another shutout, winning 4-0. Jaymiëll Martina was the hero of the game, pitching an amazing game with 12 strikeouts, and if that wasn’t enough, he also helped his own cause by driving in a run. Team Curaçao has to be the favorite in this championship, at least on the mound, considering they’ve only given up three runs the entire tournament.

Team Mountain won’t go down without a fight as they also bring a 4-0 record into this matchup. The Mountain Region is represented by Paseo Verde LL, who is from Henderson, NV. After a close 6-5 opening win against the Great Lakes Region, the Mountain Region went on a run. They followed that up with a 5-0 shutout against the Northwest Region and then a 14-6 rout of the Midwest Region, which put them in the United States Championship game. That was a rematch against the Great Lakes Region, and they left no doubt about winning the semifinal game, 12-2. Team Mountain scored five runs in the second and never looked back. This will be an incredible way to finish the 2026 LLBWS, no matter which powerhouse team wins.
