Acclaimed actor Tyler Perry‘s two popular TV shows have been renewed by Paramount+. While one is a thriller, the other is a drama series. Previously, they streamed on the BET+ service, but they moved to Paramount+ after the two services merged.
Tyler Perry’s TV projects Divorced Sistas and Zatima have been renewed by Paramount+ for upcoming seasons.
Divorced Sistas focuses on a group of characters, namely Rasheda, Geneva, Naomi, Tiffany, and Bridgette. After one confession leads to long-buried half-truths and emotional compromises, the women are forced to confront not just the men in their lives, but one another.
Besides Perry, the show also features LeToya Luckett, Khadeen Indréa, Porscha Coleman, Briana Price, Jennifer Sears, DeVon Franklin, Ronreaco Lee, and Robert Christopher Riley. Perry also serves as the creator, director, writer, and executive producer.
As for Zatima, it follows the story of Zac and Fatima as they fight to protect their family above everything else. They learn what it takes to hold a life and a future together. The cast includes DeVale Ellis, Crystal Reneé Hayslett, Nzinga Imani, Remington Hoffman, Cameron Fuller, and Guyoducer
Renewals confirm previously unannounced seasons
Before the latest announcement by Paramount+, Tyler Perry’s TV shows weren’t extended for additional seasons. However, now it’s confirmed that both Divorced Sistas and Zatima will get additional chapters.
Divorced Sistas will return with Season 3, while Zatima will return with Season 6, each having 16 episodes. As is typical for Perry’s shows, both will be split into two eight-episode installments. Previously, Zatima featured 20-episode seasons that dropped in batches of 10.
The latest news further establishes Tyler Perry’s growing relationship with Paramount+.
Two of his other popular shows recently arrived on the platform with new seasons. All the Queen’s Men returned with Season 5 on June 10, 2026, while Perry’s Ruthless TV series also made its way with Season 6 on June 30, 2026.
