Epic Games has just revealed the Crash Bandicoot Fortniteskin, as well as the Spyro the Dragon Sidekick. The two gaming legends will be coming to Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Overridein a future update. Here is a first look at the Crash Bandicoot skin and its retro edit style.
Crash Bandicoot Fortnite Skin First Look
When the Fortnite Override trailer was released last week, one of the gaming legends featured in it was Crash Bandicoot. However, up until now, we didn’t know what the iconic character’s skin would look like in the battle royale. Well, the wait is over, as Epic Games has just released a teaser video showcasing the Crash Bandicoot cosmetic.

The Crash Bandicoot Fortniteskin will also have a polygon edit style, which makes the character look like he jumped straight out of the original 1996 PlayStation game. For your convenience, we have posted two HD images below showing what the Crash Bandicoot skin will look like in-game:

When Is Crash Bandicoot Coming to Fortnite Override?
At the time of writing, we do not have a Crash Bandicoot Fortnite skin release date.Interestingly, Epic Games released a teaser trailer revealing the PlayStation mascot’s cosmetic outfit, but it didn’t include a release date or even a potential launch window.
So far, it appears that Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 is getting roughly one Gaming Legends collab a week. Based on the current schedule, we could potentially see Crash Bandicoot arriving in the Fortnite Item Shop either this Saturday, August 29, or sometime next week.
However, this is just speculation for now, and we will update this article as soon as Epic Games confirms an official Crash Bandicoot release date.
Fortnite Spyro the Dragon Sidekick Revealed
A Spyro the Dragon Fortnite Sidekick was also revealed alongside the Crash Bandicoot skin. In the teaser video, we see the iconic purple dragon sneezing before breathing out a fireball. The Spyro companion will also have an edit style that changes his color scheme to blue.
Unlike the Crash Bandicoot outfit, it looks like the Spyro the Dragon Sidekick does not have a retro style. Instead, the Fortnite Override companion appears to be based on the modern design featured in the Spyro Reignited Trilogy remasters released in 2018.

While Epic Games hasn’t revealed when Crash Bandicoot and Spyro will actually be released, we now have our first official look at both cosmetics in Chapter 7 Season 4. With Crash getting both a modern skin and a retro polygon style, longtime PlayStation fans should have plenty to look forward to when the gaming icon finally arrives in the Item Shop.
For now, we will have to wait for Epic Games to confirm the Crash Bandicoot skin release date and when the Spyro Sidekick will become available in Fortnite Override.
