There’s something about blind box collectibles that everyone can get on board with. Enthusiasts get the joy of slowly completing a set, while retailers get the equal joy of those enthusiasts buying more and more until they finally get that last one they were missing. Those dedicated to DIY might not expect to find a set of blind box collectibles to suit their tastes, but this new Milwaukee Tool promotion is a real surprise: a set of eight popular Milwaukee tools, in the form of adorable and naturally non-functional miniatures.
There’s one big caveat before we go any further: As of the time of writing, this promotion, which began in August 2026, is not available in the U.S. and is instead being advertised by Milwaukee Tool Malaysia. The brand’s Malaysia Instagram account notes that customers who spend at least RM500 (approximately $124) in a single transaction during Red Express/Power Crew receive one of the collectibles in traditional blind-box potluck fashion. There’s also a special Secret Blind Box challenge. Extra-lucky customers who find it will receive a Milwaukee tote bag. Cute little tools like these aren’t without precedent. For instance, Home Depot sells adorable Ryobi mini tool keychains.
What the promotional mini tool set includes
We don’t know if or when this Milwaukee promotion will come to the United States, but we can whet our appetites with some more details about the offer Malaysian customers are enjoying. According to Milwaukee Tool Malaysia, the Power Crew and Red Express Stamp Tour roadshows have limited stock of the collectibles.
The set is comprised of eight different miniatures. Among them are 48-22-8426 (the Packout Rolling Tool Box), the M12 FIW2F12, and a range of six different items from the brand’s popular M18 selection, including the M18 FBLG3 FUEL Blower. You might already own a collection of Milwaukee mini tools, but these new collectibles really are mini.
These fun little collectibles are just the thing to add a little whimsy to your workshop. Hopefully, they’ll make their way to the U.S. and other regions in due time. On that score, the more sought-after they prove to be in Malaysia, the better. There’s nothing a brand likes as much as a hit promotion that encourages sales, after all.
