September is one of Disney+’s biggest months of the year, and it’s easy to see why. A galaxy far, far away lands on your screen, Spider-Man swings back into the library, and Dancing with the Stars kicks off a brand-new season. What’s New on Disney+ in September 2026!
1. Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu
The theatrical event of the summer finally arrives on Disney+. Din Djarin and Grogu return in their first feature film, joined by Sigourney Weaver and featuring voice work from Martin Scorsese and Jeremy Allen White. 2. LEGO Star Wars: The Mandalorian

3. Dancing with the Stars (Season 35)

Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough return to host as a new cast of celebrities pairs up with pro dancers for another season of ballroom competition. Judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli and Derek Hough are back at the table. Live episodes continue through the month every Tuesday night at 8pm ET.
4. Spider-Man: Far From Home & No Way Home
Both Spider-Man films land on Disney+ the same day, making for a perfect back-to-back MCU movie night. No Way Home in particular remains one of the most crowd-pleasing Marvel films of the modern era and is worth a rewatch heading into fall.
5. Kraven the Hunter
The Sony Spider-Man universe entry arrives on Disney+ for subscribers to finally catch up on. A darker, more grounded take on the Marvel villain makes this one of the more interesting additions to the library this month.
6. The Simpsons (Season 37)
Springfield’s favorite family returns with another season dropping just as fall gets underway. Whether you’re a longtime fan or a casual viewer, new Simpsons episodes are always a reliable addition to any Sunday night lineup.
7. Chilean Mine Rescue: Race Against Time
Premieres September 26 – All Episodes Streaming
One of the most gripping real-life survival stories in modern history gets the definitive documentary treatment. Featuring unseen archive footage and interviews with the 33 miners who survived 69 days trapped underground in Chile, this is compelling must-see television for documentary fans.
8. City of Blood
Premieres September 16 – All Episodes Streaming
This German sci-fi thriller imagines a future Berlin ravaged by climate change, split between an air-conditioned dome for the wealthy and a crime-ridden city below — with vampires pulling the strings of organized crime. Dark, stylish, and bingeable all at once.
9. Made in Korea (Season 2)
The Korean political thriller returns as Deputy Director Baek Kitae faces a long-awaited reckoning from a former enemy out for revenge nine years in the making. If you watched Season 1, this one picks up with all the tension intact.
10. iHeartRadio Music Festival Livestream
Two nights of live music from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas stream directly on Disney+, featuring artists across every genre. It’s one of the biggest multi-genre music events of the year and a great way to catch performances you’d otherwise miss.
