From the creative powerhouse duo of writer Rick Remender (Hammerfist, Fear Agent) and artist Eric Nguyen (Strange Girl), Image Comics is bringing Gigantic: The Complete Series back to shelves in a new, action-packed trade paperback collection.
Originally published in 2006, Gigantic offers a brutal, satirical twist on The Truman Show concept. The story follows a brainwashed alien superhero who is dropped onto Earth, unaware that he is the star of a 24/7 intergalactic reality program. The series explores themes of fame, violence, and the spectacle of media, all centering on a towering, armored alien who turns San Francisco into rubble.
“Still stands as one of my favorite concepts and worlds,” said Remender in the official announcement. “When I began writing it back in 2006 I never would have guessed it would still be so relevant. Excited for a new generation to get to read it.“

Eric Nguyen echoed the excitement, adding, “As artist and co-creator I’m thrilled to bring fans this gorgeous all-in-one volume edition of Gigantic. In a story about a giant robot, BIGGER is always BETTER.”
The trade paperback collects issues #1-5 of the fan-favorite science-fiction series. Fans can pick up the volume at local comic book shops beginning Wednesday, August 26, or at independent bookstores and major retailers on Tuesday, September 22. It will also be widely available across digital platforms.
