- MIYAVI, nicknamed “Samurai Guitarist,” is an artist active in Japan and overseas. In recent years, he has performed at the opening game of the Yokohama DeNA BayStars baseball team at Yokohama Stadium; performed at the National Stadium when the Paris Saint-Germain football team came to Japan; performed at the NBA Japan Game and for Golden State The Warriors produced an original song titled “Ring ‘Em Up”; collaborated with taiko drumming group Kodo to keep traditional Japanese music and art alive on Sado Island through their performances; teamed up with McLaren Next Generation Hybrid Che Artura produced a collaborative video; and appeared at Dell’s global Youniverse event. In addition, the media appearances and live performances of members of The Last Rockstars, a new band he formed with YOSHIKI, HYDE and SUGIZO last year, also attracted widespread attention.
- MIYAVI has made several exciting announcements recently. In addition to the 20th anniversary performance in Tokyo at Shibuya Line Cube on September 18, he will also perform in Osaka. In addition, he plans to tour Europe and China.

- In addition to his musical pursuits, MIYAVI made his Hollywood debut in the Angelina Jolie film Unbreakable. He also appeared on the runway at Paris Fashion Week as a model for Yohji Yamamoto and Y-3, and was the first Japanese to appear in a GUCCI global series of ads. In recent years, he has also been actively involved in advertising campaigns for companies such as Dell and McLaren. In 2017, he became the first Japanese to be appointed as a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
