Apoorva Mukhija on moving to New York
Appearing on the Untriggered podcast, Apoorva, popularly known as The Rebel Kid, opened up about her decision to move to New York and pursue an MBA, revealing that her love for the city played a major role in her decision. Apoorva said, “I’ve travelled quite a lot, and when I landed in New York, I was like, âI really want to live here.’ There is something about this city. So, I only applied to one college because I only wanted to live in New York.”
Explaining why she chose to pursue an MBA despite already being professionally established, she said, “I can start a business today if I want to, so why would I do that?” She admitted that the decision comes with a sense of uncertainty, but also excitement about stepping into a serious academic environment. “Which is why I’m a little scared, but I’m also happy that I get to go MBA,” she said.
Sharing the podcast on her Instagram Stories, Apoorva wrote, “So, I don’t live in India anymore.”
Apoorva Mukhija on Shivangi Joshi
Apoorva commented on Harshad and Shivangi’s bond in Lock Upp and mocked the actress for crying. She said, “Have you guys got stuck in a TV serial? They said, âWe are like this, you can ask anyone.’ I feel good when I cry, I feel bad when I cry, I feel excited when I cry. So, this is wrong, right? If you have so much awareness that you are crying over everything, then change that. Why are you such a person? This is what I am saying for Shivangi. Harshad is a sweetheart, though. I love Harshad.”
During Lock Upp, she also revealed that she had suicidal thoughts during the India’s Got Latent controversy due to relentless online hate. She thanked Sufi Motiwala for supporting her through the difficult phase.
