JULY 2026 CIRCANA BOOKSCAN – TOP 20 MANGA GRAPHIC NOVELS
VIZ Dominates with ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’

Once again, VIZ Media and its top property dominate the chart of the Top 20 best-selling Manga graphic novels according to Circana BookScan data for July 2026 (7/5/2026 – 8/1/2026) provided to ICv2.
Fourteen of the 20 slots on the chart go to Shonen Jump titles from VIZ, and eight of those are volumes of Jujutsu Kaisen, with the first volume of that series taking the top spot and the most recent one in second place. This series has held on to its popularity even after the current season of the anime ended. Vol. 30 is actually the final volume of the series, but there’s a spinoff in the works, Jujutsu Kaisen Modulo, which VIZ will begin publishing in 2027 (see “‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ Spinoff”).
Kodansha has four titles on the chart, and not surprisingly, all are tied to anime.
The first volume of Yen Press’s The Summer Hikaru Died is at number 5; this series started hitting the chart when the anime came out. The other Yen Press manga, Vol. 1 of The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn’t a Guy After All may have some anticipation building for the anime; Crunchyroll announced at Anime Expo that it will begin streaming the anime in 2027.
