AttendMe's Oshi-Kan Canned Danish Bread, Featuring 27 VTubers, Opens for Pre-Order

AttendMe, a company specializing in VTuber influencer marketing (headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo), has opened pre-orders for Oshi-Kan, a canned Danish bread featuring original labels created in collaboration with 27 VTubers. Each can, which keeps for about three years, is printed with an illustration of the collaborating VTuber. Built around the idea that your oshi (favorite character) can be there for you even in an emergency, the product blends fan activities with disaster food stockpiling in a new kind of item.

“Someone to Help You in an Emergency” — The Concept Behind Oshi-Kan

With three days’ worth of food stockpiling commonly recommended as disaster preparedness, a new option has emerged: canned Danish bread featuring illustrations of your favorite VTuber. Oshi-Kan is an originally labeled canned bread built around the idea that your oshi will be there for you in an emergency.

Each can is wrapped in an original label printed with the collaborating VTuber’s illustration, making the product a piece of merchandise in its own right. Oshi-Kan has already partnered with more than 1,000 VTubers to date, and is supported by a wide range of fans as a new form of oshi-katsu — something to display, something to eat, and something to stock up on, all in one.

Three Ways to Enjoy It — Storage, Display, and Eating

Emergency food is typically recommended to be stocked for three days, and with Oshi-Kan, that stockpile can double as fan activity. The product packs three uses into one can: keep it “for storage” on a shelf, collect it “for display,” or enjoy it “to eat” during everyday tea time or outdoor activities.

Each can keeps for about three years, offering the reassurance that your oshi will be there to help when you need it most.

A Focus on Great Taste — Rethinking “Emergency Food”

Another major feature of Oshi-Kan is that it challenges the common image of emergency food as hard and unappetizing. Inside each can is soft Danish bread, sold as a set of two flavors — plain and chocolate — with a quality good enough to enjoy during everyday tea time, camping, outdoor leisure, or hiking.

Warming it in the microwave brings out a freshly baked aroma. Simply take it out of the can and heat it — a convenience that’s another welcome point.

    Thoughtfully Designed Details

The can uses an easy-open lid, so no can opener is needed and it can be opened anywhere with ease. The bread, held in a muffin cup, is packed upside down inside the can, so it can be taken out and eaten hygienically without directly touching the bread. Each can holds two pieces, making it easy to share and enjoy with fellow fans.
