How to Watch the 2026 MLB Playoffs
The 2026 MLB postseason television schedule is divided by round:
- Wild Card Series: NBC
- American League Division Series: TBS
- National League Division Series: FOX, FS1 and FOX One
- American League Championship Series: TBS
- National League Championship Series: FOX, FS1 and FOX One
- World Series: FOX and FOX One
Game times and specific FOX or FS1 assignments will be announced closer to the postseason.
How to Stream the 2026 MLB Playoffs
Fans can stream postseason games through services that carry the scheduled broadcast network. FOX and FS1 postseason coverage, including every World Series game, is available with FOX One. FOX games are also available on FOXSports.com and the FOX Sports App with an eligible TV provider login.
NBC postseason coverage is also available through Peacock. Availability for games on TBS depends on the viewer’s television or streaming package.

When Do the 2026 MLB Playoffs Start?
The Wild Card Series begins Tuesday, Sept. 29. The Division Series begin Saturday, Oct. 3, followed by the League Championship Series beginning Sunday, Oct. 11. The World Series begins Friday, Oct. 23.
When Is the 2026 World Series?
Game 1 of the 2026 World Series is scheduled for Friday, Oct. 23. If the best-of-seven series goes the distance, Game 7 is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31. Every World Series game will air on FOX and stream with FOX One.
How Does the MLB Playoff Format Work?
Twelve teams qualify for the postseason: six from the American League and six from the National League. The two highest-seeded division winners in each league receive first-round byes. The remaining teams play best-of-three Wild Card Series, with every game hosted by the higher seed.
The Division Series are best-of-five. The League Championship Series and World Series are best-of-seven.
