Tetris has been officially revealed as the latest major gaming collab in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, as anticipation for the new season continues to rise.
Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 kicks off on August 20 and Epic Games has slowly been officially revealing gaming collabs set to headline in the season.
Sonic the Hedgehog kicked things off, followed by Roblox hit 99 Nights in the Forest, and Tetris has now been confirmed as landing in the game.
Tetris Arrives in Fortnite
Revealed in an official teaser trailer, Tetris’ arrival in Fortnite looks to have several different elements, including a POI takeover for the gaming hit.
Sunken Shores is set for a Tetris-themed makeover, the trailer shows, while there could also be a Tetris-themed weapon in the loot pool, as Peely is shown throwing an item that then results in Tetris blocks falling from above.
The mechanic is a smart choice from Epic Games, as it was previously unclear how a franchise like Tetris could be incorporated into the game, and there’s still a chance of even more.

As ShiinaBR posted, the official Tetris account responded to a player with an eyes emoji when they commented “I thought Tetris was gonna be all the blocks formed into a skin.”
More details on Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 will be revealed in this weekend’s Story Event, laying the groundwork for the new season, before the big kick-off next week.
