I Drank the Entire Cocktail Menu at The Wolf Among Us’s Trip Trap Bar

hello world!
My lips are not sealed on this one. During San Diego Comic Con, Telltale Games and PM Studios hosted a pop-up in honor of the upcoming remaster of The Wolf Among Us. The teams took over a bar at the Hard Rock and transformed it into the Trip Trap Bar, Holly’s bar from the game.
The remaster was announced in June 2026 and promises completely updated art assets across all five iconic chapters of the Telltale classic. This 2026 remaster comes as a precursor to the highly anticipated sequel, The Wolf Among Us 2. I may not be a Fabletown regular, but I am an investigative journalist*, and my commitment to the craft of cocktails cannot be underestimated**.
*No, I’m not; that’s a lie. I’m a lying liar who lies for sport.
** Ok that part’s true.
I drank the entire menu at the Trip Trap bar from The Wolf Among Us; here’s what went into each drink and how they tie into the game.
Glamour
The Glamour cocktail is named after the magic spell that makes one character look like another. This comes into play pretty quickly with a harrowing plot twist in the opening of the second episode of The Wolf Among Us. This drink was smooth and refreshing but admittedly, a bit strong. I could see myself having one of these over dinner and savoring it alongside a meal. The use of butterfly pea tea makes the drink purple, a clever meta moment on an ingredient making one thing look like another.
Magic Mirror Martini
The Magic Mirror in The Wolf Among Us is a certified diva. He only allows users to address him via rhyme, which is also how he exclusively answers questions. Now, what drinks do divas love? Martinis, that’s right. The Magic Mirror Martini is a little bougie, but so is its namesake, so it makes sense. This is a bit much for me; the Midori tastes the way college did, so I fully admit this is a ‘me’ problem, but I would love to be the kind of girlie pop who could knock these back. This is an aspirational drink for me- strong but smooth.
Midas Gold
The Midas Gold is a bit more of an IKYKY; Midas Gold is a brand being promoted inside the Trip Trap bar in the game. The brand is not explicitly discussed; it’s simply visible in branding the way any branded beer would be featured in a bar in our world. While in the game it appears to be a pretty straightforward beer, the real-world adaptation takes the theming over the top with edible gold glitter. When mine was made, I saw two distinct layers of added gold dropped in, which felt impressive. Midas himself would probably appreciate how generous the Trip Trap team was with the gold. This was easily my favorite of the cocktail menu- it’s something I could sip by the pool or knock back at a concert and still feel like a king. This is the one I’d reach for the most.
Of all these drinks, which one would you reach for first? And how stoked are you to play The Wolf Among Us Remastered? While a hard release date hasn’t been announced yet, we do know it should be out sometime this year in 2026.

I want to believe in Carter’s Directors Cut of The X-Files 2008 Film
I think most people can agree that the 2008 X-Files film “I Want to Believe” was a bit of a disappointment. And now, because we are in an age where Director’s Cuts are able to happen 18 years after the film, we are able to see Chris Carter’s definitive version of the film. This time, […]

Did Netflix Crack the key to Movie Marketing?!
In case you’ve missed it. Netflix has “locked” a man in a house on a billboard… Yes, you read that right! This wild marketing campaign is for Netflix’s new horror film The Last House starring Greta Lee and Wagner Moura. Absolutely genius!

EA Purchased by Saudi Arabia’s PIF – Mass Layoffs Await
This flipping sucks. EA is now in more debt than it was before the purchase, layoffs are expected, and you’ve gotta think that Bioware is under threat. Ready for “Leveraging AI” and “Steamlining Workflows” to be used in a future announcement. EA was bad before. Now what?
