Nintendo maintenance schedule – August 9, 2026 – Switch Online downtime coming soon

Nintendo has released its maintenance schedule for the week of August 9, 2026.
We previously mentioned that a Nintendo Switch Online session was planned for the middle of the month. That’s still planned, but an extra one has been added as well.
The new session will affect Nintendo Switch to 2 Switch transfers as well as save data cloud. However, it will only last an hour.
Below is the full Nintendo maintenance schedule for the week of August 9, 2026:
Nintendo Switch Online services – Switch 2 / Switch
– 10 PM PT (August 17) – 12 AM PT (August 18)
– 1 AM ET (August 18) – 3 AM ET (August 18)
– 6 AM in the UK (August 18) – 8 AM in the UK (August 18)
– 7 AM in Europe (August 18) – 9 AM in Europe (August 18)
Nintendo Switch Online – transferring save data from Switch 2 to Switch, save data cloud
– 6 PM PT (August 18) – 7 PM PT (August 18)
– 9 PM ET (August 18) – 10 PM ET (August 18)
– 2 AM in the UK (August 19) – 3 AM in the UK (August 19)
– 3 AM in Europe (August 19) – 4 AM in Europe (August 19)
