‘Nightmare Shift’ Checks in to PlayStation 5 This Week [Trailer]

After launching back in July on the Xbox Series (and after launching on Steam last year), it’ll be the <a href="https://store.<a href="https://comicvibe.com/award-winning-2023-ps5-adventure-game-under-10-on-playstation-store/” title=”Award-Winning 2023 PS5 Adventure Game Under $10 on PlayStation Store”>playstation.com/concept/10018823″ rel=”nofollow noopener” target=”_blank”>PlayStation 5‘s turn to experience Binary Lunar‘s psychological horror title Nightmare Shift later this week. Drawing on films in the style of Lee Kwon‘s 2018 Korean film Door Lock, Nightmare Shift will launch on Sony’s console on August 13. And if you’re keen to check out the game ahead of time, you can always play the demo that’s available on Steam.

Nightmare Shift is centered on night-shift workers at a motel. Players take on the role of Emma, whose everyday life grows increasingly unsettling. Between handling unsettling guests and navigating eerie events, Emma’s apartment life is not much better. Experiences the unease of being watched and question what’s real as the line between reality and nightmare blurs.

Players will navigate the daily tasks of Emma’s job and home life, only to realize that routine can be a mask for something far more sinister. You’ll encounter individuals whose motives are unclear, with each interaction bringing you closer to the truth—or deeper into paranoia. Who can you trust when everyone seems suspicious?
