There are some times in life when all you need is a little love. Thankfully, Netflix seems to have that and more with their dating reality shows. While it sometimes feels as if the number of series they release is endless, only a few really stand out to me, a constant consumer.

So, if you’re like me and you’re in the search for steamy conversations, frustrating men, and so much more drama, I shared the four best dating reality shows to watch on Netflix right now.

Let’s get the list started with the best of the bunch, Love is Blind.

    Love Is Blind

With 10 seasons released, Love Is Blindis hands down one of the most successful dating reality shows, and for good reason. The basic premise is that singles meet each other through a literal wall separating them and date for some time before deciding if they want to get engaged. But all of this happens before they see the other in person.

When that reveal finally happens, and they’re whisked away on a vacation and then back into the real world to get to know each other, that’s when the drama begins — and when certain singles sometimes stray to former singles when the physical appearances are revealed. At the end of it all, they must answer the age-old question before saying, “I do.” Is love truly blind?

Has this series gone a little downhill in recent years because of some people just trying to join the show for clout? Of course it has, as is the case with manyNetflix reality shows. But there are still moments of genuine companionship and love, and there are even some couples who are still married to this day. They’ve doubled down on this series with aseason 11 renewal, so you might as well catch up on the drama now.

    Love On The Spectrum

Out of every show on this list, Love on the Spectrumis themost uplifting series of them all.

The premise of the series is as simple as its name — people on the autism spectrum are followed as they enter the dating world and search for love.

What makes this series so much better than most is that these are genuine connections people are trying to make. Is the drama of Love Is Blindand Perfect Matchfun to follow? Of course it is. And I’m sure there are people on those shows who really want a true connection as well.

But the participants of Love on the Spectrumtruly care about finding their significant other, and you can tell from their actions and how they present themselves. And when a couple works out, and you follow them after the show? It makes watching the series so much better. There are four seasons so far on the show, so you’re in for a great ride.

    Single’s Inferno

I recently did an article about thebest South Korean dramas to check out, which you totally should. But there are also some incredible South Korean dating shows out there too, and I have to give the flowers to Singles Inferno. My god, I am addictedto this series.

The premise is that singles are left on an island to survive but also look for love, and when you pair up with someone, you’re whisked away to “Paradise,” an island that has a really nice hotel for you to go on dates while everyone else is on the island. Think of it as a mix between Survivorand Love Islandbut so, so much better.

While the stakes have been lowered a little in recent seasons, where people no longer have to look for their own food and water, it’s still a fascinating concept, and there is just something about this specific show that does this so well. Imagine just trying to survive with a total stranger who might end up becoming your romantic partner after all this? Wild stuff. There are five seasons so far!

    Perfect Match

The last one I mustput on here is Perfect Match. Is this series really just the all-stars from the other Netflix dating reality universe? Yes, it most certainly is. But that’s what makes it so good, the messiness of it all.

I didn’t say that each of these shows would renew your faith in humanity or love. I promised the best dating reality shows, and this is by far one of them. Why? Because Perfect Matchtakes all the messy characters from dating shows and throws them into one big villa to make some major mistakes, cause a lot of drama, and make you yell at your screen. That, to me, is a fun time.

Honestly, I think the challenges they have the paired-up couples do are creative, with a hint of cheekiness thrown in there as well. That’s something that you don’t get with many of the dating shows that are focused a lot on the couples themselves rather than challenges they must do together. If you like game shows mixed with drama, then Perfect Matchis for you, with four seasons to watch so far.

Now, if you don’t mind me, I’m going to be patiently waiting for when Love Is Blindreturns to my screen. And if you want to check out any of these shows, head to Netflix to stream them!
