<a href="https://comicvibe.com/fortnite-chapter-7-season-4-title-leaked/” title=”Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Title Leaked”>Fortnite’s current Chapter 7 Season 3 is set to draw to a close very soon, marking the end of the somewhat underwhelming ‘RUNNERS’.

The season kicked off on June 6 with a storyline seeing Slone and The Singularity return to team up with The Seven.

It follows the conclusion of the previous season where fan-favourite Jones was shot and left for dead; players can currently find his comatose body floating in a healing tank in Shaken Sanctuary.

Chapter 7 Season 3 lacked a strong visual identity, instead placing the focus upon Sprites, collectible little helpers that add unique buffs and abilities.

While Sprites look set to stick around for a little while longer, Chapter 7 Season 4 is set to slightly drift away from this sluggish The Seven storyline for something a little more commercially appealing.

When is Fortnite’s Chapter 7 Season 4 due to start?

You don’t have long to wait as Fortnite’s Chapter 7 Season 4 is due to kick off after the current Season 3 draws to a close on August 19, with a planned launch date of August 20.

According to leaker blortzen, the season’s launch will be followed by four updates. Those are rumoured to take place on September 3, September 17, October 1, and October 15.

It’s very likely that Fortnite will then follow previous years’ pattern of launching a one-month-long mini season before kicking off Chapter 8 in December to co-ordinate with The Game Awards being held.

What will Chapter 7 Season 4’s ‘Gaming Legends’ theme entail?

Leaks appear to confirm that Chapter 7 Season 4 will boast a ‘Gaming Legends’ theme with Epic Games due to collaborate with a number of iconic gaming IPs.

Dataminers have uncovered items in Fortnite’s backend relating to Pac-Man, Tetris, Persona, Sonic The Hedgehog, Kingdom Hearts, and Mega Man, although that’s not to say that these are the only franchises that might appear.

Already, Fortnite players can hear a Pac-Man ditty playing at Wonkeeland, seemingly teasing the arrival of a gaming-centric season. You can take a look for yourself below.

Hopefully, the season will introduce some recognisable locations lifted from our favourite video games. Chapter 7 hasn’t exactly blown fans away with Season 3 widely considered to be one of Fortnite’s worst.

Will Sprites return in Fortnite’s Chapter 7 Season 4?

It’s looking very likely that Sprites will indeed return, although they won’t play as pivotal of a role given that the entire current RUNNERS season is built around the Sprites.

Again, this tease comes from Blortzen, who didn’t offer much beyond claiming that Sprites will remain in the game.

    Fortnite,

It would be an easy way to introduce gaming IPs without having to give each IP its own skin or themed location.

Sprites do feel like an overcomplicated version of Augments though; it would be great to see those return after disappearing from the game in December 2023.
