Fortnite announces new Bleach crossover featuring Kisuke and Yoruichi skins

More Bleach content are coming to Fortnite this 7 August.

Epic Games is delivering the long-requested second collaboration for Bleach in Fortnite on its Chapter 7 Season 3. The classic anime and manga series is confirmed to return to the battle royale with new characters, and potentially cosmetics, on 7 August.

In a 13-second teaser, Epic Games showcased the two new Bleach characters that will arrive in Fortnite, Kisuke Urahara and the highly-requested Yoruichi Shihoin. The two characters will be getting their own skins, and perhaps additional styles, as suggested by leaks. 

“Don’t blink. See you August 7,” Fortnite posted on social media.

While this remains the only official reveal for Bleach Wave 2 so far, fans will not have to wait long, as the full crossover returns on 7 August.

What is in the Fortnite x Bleach crossover?

The first Fortnite x Bleach crossover took place in December 2025, bringing a comprehensive lineup of Bleach-themed skins and items into the game. Four outfits were introduced, inspired by protagonists Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Orihime Inoue, and Uryū Ishida. The crossover also contained numerous cosmetics, including four Back Blings, Pickaxes, emotes, a weapon wrap, and a loading screen. 

It was positively received, with fans of the supernatural anime eager to try out the new outfits. However, many players also requested the addition of Ichigo’s mentor, Kisuke, and the powerful Soul Reaper Yoruichi–among many others. Excitingly, requests for those two specifically will now be answered, as Epic Games brings Bleach back for another round of content. Many fans are also hoping to see another captain Kenpachi Zaraki and antagonist Sosuke Aizen make an appearance.

It remains unclear what else Wave 2 of Bleach will bring to the in-game Shop, although leaks have suggested that the two new characters could arrive with additional outfit styles, alongside cosmetics such as Back Blings, Pickaxes, and emotes, as well as LEGO versions for each one of them. Previous Bleach crossover items may also return alongside the new additions.

Fortnite has now done plenty of anime crossovers. While Bleach was one of the more highly-anticipated additions, Fortnite has also crossed universes with Naruto in 2021, Dragon Ball in 2022, as well as Attack on Titan and Jujutsu Kaisen in 2023.
