Mirzapur: The Movie features several of the franchise’s most recognisable characters, such as Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal), Munna Bhaiya (Divyenndu), and Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi), in the world of Season 1 for the first time.
The ensemble cast of the film also stars Jitendra Kumar, Ravi Kishan, Abhishek Banerjee, Rasika Dugal, Mohitt Maalik, Sheeba Chadha, Rajesh Tailang, Pramod Pathak, Shriya Pilgaonkar, Harshita Shekhar Gaur, Shweta Tripathi, Sonal S. Chauhan, Anangsha Biswas, Shaji Chaudhary, Satendra Soni, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Sushant Singh in key roles.
Presented by Amazon MGM Studios and Excel Entertainment, Mirzapur: Gurmmeet Singh is the director, Puneet Krishna is the writer, and Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar are the producers under Excel Entertainment.
Kassim Jagmagia and Vishal Ramchandani are co-producers of the movie, which is scheduled for a global theatrical release in Hindi and Telugu on September 4, 2026.
