    Highlights

    • Converse has launched a Dragon Ball Z collection featuring themed Chuck Taylor and Chuck 70 shoes and apparel.
    • The collection includes adult and kids’ converse shoes, customizable sneakers, graphic T-shirts, and hoodies.
    • The Dragon Ball Z x Converse collaboration expands Converse’s growing anime lineup.

Converse has officially unveiled its latest anime collaboration with Dragon Ball Zfor a capsule collection centered on the franchise’s most recognizable characters. Announced in late July, the lineup combines the footwear brand’s signature Chuck Taylor and Chuck 70 converse and apparel, bringing 19 themed items for fans.

The release includes adult and children’s footwear, graphic T-shirts, and hoodies. The Dragon Ball Zcollection launched through Converse’s online store across North America and Greater China on July 23. A broader worldwide release follows on August 11.

Dragon Ball Z x Converse Products and Price Breakdown

Converse x Dragon Ball Zcapsule’s Chuck Taylor colorways are built around Dragon Ball Z characters. The Chuck 70 pair honors Shenron, the wish-granting dragon, wrapped in a full canvas graphic.

The adult Chuck Taylor All Star high-tops are inspired by Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, and Cell, with each pair featuring character-specific design elements. Vegeta sneakers include a detachable Scouter charm and the Goku design comes with a four-star Dragon Ball tag.

The adult Dragon Ball Zconverses also come alongside a customizable ‘By You’ option that lets buyers edit the designs. Converse x Dragon Ball Zline rounds up the drop with two T-shirts and a hoodie featuring Shenron and Goku graphics, expanding the release as a broader lifestyle collection. The kids-exclusive shoes feature Majin Buu and a fused Goten-and-Trunks design.

Prices of the Converse x Dragon Ball Zproducts are as follows:

    Item Kids Price Adult Price
Chuck Taylor All Star $55.00 $80 – $105 (‘By You’)
Chuck 70 Shenron Not offered $100.00
    Shenron T-Shirt Not offered $40 – $50
    Shenron Hoodie Not offered $75.00

Adult Chuck Taylor All Star pairs, covering Goku, Vegeta, Frieza, and Cell, retail at $80 each, while the Majin Buu and Fusion ones, for kids, are priced only at $55. The customizable Chuck Taylors are priced at $105 USD. At the time of writing, the tees and hoodies were sold out on the Converse website.

The Dragon Ball Z collection continues Converse’s growing portfolio of anime collaborations, which already includes partnerships with Naruto Shippuden, Pokémon, and One Piece. The collection also drops just months before the franchise’s upcoming new anime, Dragon Ball Super:
    Beerus
, a remake focusing on the Battle of Gods storyline.

As anime IPs expand global reach through streaming, collaborations like this demonstrate how anime fashion is increasingly becoming lifestyle and streetwear labels instead of remaining confined to collector merchandise.
