DrakkenRidge expands Quest 3 and 3S for free, adding new islands, new enemies, and more.
Released in September, DrakkenRidge is a retro-themed VR fantasy adventure that, in our opinion, received positive reviews compared to the classic RuneScape. As a new member of the Sorcerer’s Order, you are tasked with policing the use of magic throughout the land while exploring dungeons and solving puzzles. The Maruk’s Hammer expansion is currently available as a free update.

While the main game explores five unique islands in the Drackenridge Archipelago, The Hammer of Malk introduces you to a remote dwarven island, home to a mythical forge. When the island is besieged by mysterious invaders and ancient threats, the dwarves must fight them off to protect their homeland and save their forge.
This occurs in a multi-stage main quest, and four new side quests are also available. You’ll find two new weapons, including the Void Whisper, a talking sword possessed by an ancient evil. New elemental arrows can also be created, and new enemies in this expansion include new dragons, frost howls, battle mages, and corrupted paladins.
This is the biggest update DrakkenRidge has received since its launch in September, with Garage Collective previously releasing four separate updates. Patch 1.3 added new distance awareness and the option to summon weapons by grabbing over your shoulder. Last month’s inventory update also brought new inventory layouts and automatic sorting features.
DrakkenRidge and Maruk’s Hammer updates have been released for Quest 3/3S.
