Hasbro is looking to further fill out the GI Joe ranks this year with the release of Law & Order figures. These figures are inspired by the 1987 GI Joe Real American Hero 3 3/4 inch O-ring figure series and given modern new elements and accessories. Christopher “Roe” Lovinge is notable for his caricatures of GI Joe Legend and his original toy sculptor, Kirk Bozigian. Kirk Bozigian is a former Hasbro executive who worked on the brand as one of the architects of its relaunch in 1982, helping bring the comics, toy line, and brand to life at the time, and remained with the brand until its end of operations in 1994.

LAW & ORDER is packaged in a window box with logos and artwork on all sides, images of the figure, and an action shot on the back that includes a photo of the toy.
Christopher “Law” Lavinge takes inspiration from the 1987 O-Ring figure, but this new 6-inch classified figure has been given some new elements and accessories. He wears a similar costume, but with mostly new colors compared to the 1987 release, with a dark blue vest with dark blue decorations in which sculpted textures are placed, a metallic gold police badge, a sculpted pouch and holster for his pistol, a radio attached to the vest, and a wire for him to hold. He also wears the same red shirt that the vintage O-Ring figure wore under his vest, green pants with a sculpted pouch with a strap on the left side, and a holster for a machine gun on the other. The pants also have sculpted knee pads and he wears black boots with great sculpted detail. He also wears an armband with the letters MP K-9 on it, meaning he is teamed with a K9 unit. He also has a green wristband on his left side and a black watch on his right side. His belt contains further pouches and engraved accessories, such as a flashlight and non-removable handcuffs, but also comes with a holster for the handcuffs.
The sculpt on his head is great, with nicely finished facial details, eyes, lips and eyebrows sculpted and painted, and light brown hair sculpted. He wears a close-fitting white helmet with the letters MP engraved on his forehead.
The order is a German Shepherd and the likeness looks great as the engraving and deco resemble the character. He wears a non-removable green harness with the words “MP K-9” on each side and a handle on the top. It also has a collar with a handle and the words “MPK-9” on the front. The order comes with two sculpts, a friendly head and a growling head, both of which look great, as well as goggles that can be placed over the eyes and looped around the ears.
His articulation includes a ball-jointed head, a ball-jointed neck, 4 ball-jointed hips, 4 swivel-hinged knees, 4 swivel-hinged ankles, and a swivel-hinged tail.
Law includes a baton, knife, pistol, machine gun, handcuffs, helmet, and a radio engraved on the vest. All weapons except the knife are arranged to be stored in the main body, as shown in the last two images above. Four sets of replacement hands are also included (neutral, pointed finger, open grip, fist fighting hand, and open grip left hand).

His articulation includes a ball-jointed head and neck, swivel-hinged and butterfly shoulders, swivel biceps, double-hinged elbows, swivel-hinged wrists, ball-jointed hips, ball-jointed hips, swivel thighs, double-hinged knees, swivel calves, and hinged and rocker ankles.
