Epic Games has officially announced that The Simpsons’ Springfield Island will return to Fortnite Reload on July 30.
Springfield Reloaded will see the crossover’s map adapted for Fortnite’s faster Battle Royale mode. A full reveal is scheduled for July 29, with the update itself arriving a day later, on July 30.
The Simpsons originally joined Fortnite through a dedicated Mini-Season in November 2025, replacing the standard Battle Royale Island with a smaller version of Springfield. The map featured iconic locations from the show, including the Simpsons House, Moe’s Tavern and the Nuclear Power Plant, along with themed weapons, bosses and characters.
While official details of the new Reload loot pool and map features remain unknown for now, the latest teaser shows the Duff Blimp Battle Bus flying above a familiar Springfield Island. The map was already designed for reduced 80-player Battle Royale lobbies during the Mini-Season, making it well suited to Reload without requiring any major changes.
Full details on Springfield Reloaded will be shared on July 29. As always, we’ll keep you updated.
In addition to today’s news, we also wanted to share Locker.gg, a new project we’ve recently launched for everything gaming.
Locker.gg gives players one place to browse, track and showcase their collections across Fortnite and other games. The Fortnite section contains over 15,000 cosmetics, along with the current Item Shop, Sets, Passes, Season history and a Sprite collection tracker.
There, you can build your own Locker and Wishlist, import game collections, track their real value, compare with friends and share everything through a public profile.
