Lumibricks will soon bring its Manga Shop to the world of illuminated building blocks, according to steine-kanal.de. The set already has an Amazon listing and an ASIN, although several details are still missing. It is not yet available to order.
According to the Amazon listing, the set consists of 1,699 pieces. It also includes 12 LEDs that illuminate the model, presumablyeries as a requirement. More details should emerge once Lumibricks activates the Amazon listing or offers the set on its website. According to Lumibricks, the LEDs illuminate vending machines, “holographic” advertising signs, storefront windows, and streetlights
The set also features two removable floors and includes three minifigures: “a manga collector, a talented hacker, and an office worker,” according to the description. The new model is part of the Neon City series and is designed to complement the other buildings. Lumibricks specifically mentions the Izakaya set, although it has been sold out on Amazon Germany for some time. The company also refers to “future” sets, indicating that more models are planned.
The sets can be connected and share a single power supply through a docking feature. The Lumibricks Manga Shop carries model number 17015-EU, but the official pricing has not yet been announced. For comparison, the recently released illuminated Neon Tech Tower with 2,227 pieces costs $150 in the US. The Manga Shop should therefore be significantly cheaper.
