Eddie Brock may be separated from the Venom symbiote in Marvel‘s comic book universe, but don’t expect that status quo to last much longer. Today at Comic-Con, Marvel announced that Eddie will become Venom again in a new ongoing series launching after the Queen in Black crossover wraps.

As revealed at Marvel’s “Next Big Thing” panel, the new series will be helmed by writer Charles Soule (Star Wars), artist Tommaso Bianchi (Thunderbolts), and cover artist Davide Paratore. You can see art for Venom #1 and the other books featured at the panel in the slideshow gallery below:

Here’s the official summary for Venom #1:

Eddie Brock and Venom are reunited — and it feels so good! After years apart, once again THEY ARE VENOM, and Eddie is not going to let this opportunity go to waste. He is determined to be the ultimate host for the symbiote and be the hero he knows he can be…and he’s not going to let any other super heroes say otherwise! Writer Charles Soule (DAREDEVIL, STAR WARS) and artist Tommaso Bianchi (DAREDEVIL/PUNISHER: THE DEVIL’S TRIGGER, THUNDERBOLTS) bond together to bring us this story of two becoming one!

This new series brings Venom full circle. Previously, the symbiote passed from Eddie to his son Dylan and then to Mary Jane Watson. But what of MJ? She’ll be starring in a new series of her own, as she embraces a relatively more normal status quo again. Friendly Neighborhood Mary Jane sees MJ resume her Hollywood career, this time as a producer, and butt heads with the Chameleon. The five-issue series is written by Ashley Allen (Tomb of Apocalypse) and drawn by Phil Noto (Daredevil & Echo).

Venom #1 will debut in October 2026, followed by Friendly Neighborhood Mary Jane in November.

Also at the panel, Marvel revealed a new series of crossover specials spinning out of the pages of Phillip Kennedy Johnson’s Infernal Hulk series. This lineup includes Infernal Hulk vs. Wolverine #1, Infernal Hulk vs. Fantastic Four #1, Infernal Hulk vs. Spider-Man #1, and Infernal Hulk vs. Avengers #1. All are written by Johnson and help lay the foundation for the upcoming Hulk War event.
