GREEN DAY-INSPIRED COMEDY “NIMRODS” HITS THE BIG SCREEN AUGUST 14

From Inaugural Entertainment and Live Nation Studios comes “NIMRODS,” a hilarious, heartfelt road trip comedy inspired by the early days of Green Day — arriving exclusively in theaters on August 14.

    ABOUT “NIMRODS”

When Tommy gets a life-changing phone call inviting his band to open for Green Day on New Year’s Eve, he believes his dreams are finally coming true. But there’s one problem — the opportunity is actually an elaborate prank orchestrated by his older brother, Wayne.

Refusing to let the chance of a lifetime slip away, Tommy steals Wayne’s car and hits the road with his bandmates, racing from Kansas City to Los Angeles with just three days to make it happen.

What unfolds is a wild, unforgettable cross-country adventure filled with friendship, ambition, and plenty of chaos — inspired by Green Day’s own early years of touring in a van long before the release of their breakthrough album “Dookie.”

    STAR-STUDDED CAST

“NIMRODS” features an incredible ensemble cast including:

Mason Thames, Mckenna Grace, Kylr Coffman, Ryan Foust, Ignacio Diaz-Silverio, Keen Ruffalo, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Fred Armisen, Bobby Lee, and Sean Gunn.

    FILMMAKERS & PRODUCERS

Written and directed by Lee Kirk, “NIMRODS” is produced by Tim Perell for Process, along with Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tré Cool of Green Day.

Executive producers include Ryan Kroft and Michael Rapino for Live Nation Studios, and Jonathan Daniel.
