Jessie J split from Chanan Colman “some time ago”.
The 38-year-old singer had been dating the basketball player since 2021 but she’s now revealed they have gone their separate ways but are trying to navigate the situation as best as they can for the sake of their two-year-old son Sky.
She wrote on Instagram: “Chanan and I decided to end our romantic relationship some time ago, it has been a sad and difficult situation, but we have been focused on navigating the change privately and positively for a healthy and happy co parenting environment for our son, and ourselves.
“Unfortunately being in the public eye this is the easiest way to let people know the truth, before rumours circulate or a false narrative is written.”
Despite ending their romantic relationships, the former couple still plan to come together for the sake of their son and to retain a “positive friendship”.
Jessie concluded: “We will always continue supporting <a href="https://comicvibe.com/fanatics-fest-isnt-ending-the-national-and-the-two-actually-need-each-other/” title=”Fanatics Fest Isn't Ending The National and the Two Actually Need Each Other”>each other with love, respect and care as friends and most importantly being Skys Mum and Dad, so if you see us out and about together as a family, or posting each other on socials every now and again. That’s exactly what we are doing.

In June 2025, Jessie revealed she had been diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy.
And in May this year, she revealed she had been told she no longer had the disease.
In a video shared on Instagram, Jessie said: “So I’m back for my yearly check-up, I’m actually s******* myself, I’m not gonna lie.
“They told me there was no contrast, but I think there is based on this (cannula).
“Gotta go in for my MRI, pretend I’m not claustrophobic, and if you haven’t had a breast MRI, you have to lay on your front, put your arms in the air like Superman.
“I might have to have a bigger bucket this time, for this big old b*** but fingers crossed, all good, positive vibes, don’t worry about a thing.”
The Domino hitmaker then revealed that she had been given the all-clear.
She wrote: “RESULTS ARE IN AND I AM CANCER FREE!!
“I sobbed for hours and then exhaled for the first time in a year.”
